What about the South Island kitesurfing conditions? My opinion is defenetly nothing to do. Very gusty winds always , but there is an amazing lagoon , beautiful and perfect to kite. The problem is that only with hight tide it is possible to use this great lagoon, then not always is with enought water , and the more important problem as I said is the very gusty winds for more than 90% of the windy days. I have tried to kite there long a lot of times until i decided dont go more, only if the wind is fro south or east and also if will be hight tide in the same day , then i could think to go because in that moment the lagoon could be the best , but this is only 7 times per year
